Terms and conditions of participation – Hahnenkamm-Races Raffle Igloo

1 Austrian Airlines „Hahnenkamm-Races Raffle Igloo”
1.1 By participating in the „Hahnenkamm-Races Raffle Igloo“ (hereinafter referred to as the „promotion“), you confirm that you agree to these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
1.2 The organizer of the promotion is Austrian Airlines AG, Office Park 2, P.O. Box 100, A-1300 Vienna Airport (hereinafter referred to as „Austrian Airlines“). Participation in the promotion is free of charge and in no way dependent on the purchase of a good or the use of a service. Participants must bear the user costs for participation, such as internet connection or mobile phone costs.
1.3 The prize draw period is from 24th of January 2025, to 26th of January 2025. The winners will be notified on 31st of January 2025 at the latest.
1.4 The competition is governed exclusively by Austrian law.

2 Participation
2.1 Natural persons who are 18 years of age or older and reside in Austria are eligible to participate.
2.2 Automated entries as well as deliberate false entries and entries with false profiles are not permitted. Austrian Airlines is entitled to exclude participants from taking part in the competition without prior notice if they do not meet the requirements of these conditions of participation or if they manipulate or attempt to manipulate the competition, in particular its participation process, especially through multiple participation, and/or culpably violate the rules of participation.
2.3 In order to participate in the promotion, the participant must register on the landing page (https://smile.austrian.com/assets/responsysimages/content/aust/gewinnspiel_hahnenkamm_en_2025.htm) and accept these terms and conditions of participation.
2.4 Austrian Airlines reserves the right to change the conditions of participation at any time.

3 Determination of the winners
3.1 The winners will be determined in a non-public draw after the closing date for entries.
3.2 If the winner is not available and does not contact Austrian Airlines in writing or verbally within 1 (one) week of being notified of the prize in accordance with point 3.3, Austrian Airlines may select an alternative winner. Furthermore, Austrian Airlines has the right to forfeit the prize without substitution.
3.3 The winner will then be notified by e-mail.

4 Prizes
4.1 The following prizes will be raffled off for two people each:

  • 10×2 flight tickets:
    • in Economy Class
    • the following destinations are available: Palma de Mallorca (PMI), Athens (ATH), Naples (NAP), Barcelona (BCN), Malga (AGP), Nice (NCE)
    • Departure and arrival airport: Vienna (VIE)
    • Booking period: subject to availability

Arrival and departure to Vienna and feeder flights to Vienna (VIE) are not included in the price.
4.2 The prize will be made available to the winners via e-mail in the form of a flight voucher.
4.3 Cash redemption, an exchange for other material assets or alternatives to the prize offered are not possible. The prize is non-transferable and the resale of tickets is not permitted. The promotion cannot be combined with other promotions.
4.4 Austrian Airlines assumes no liability for the delivery of the prizes to the respective winners. To the extent permitted by law, Austrian Airlines also assumes no liability for the availability of the prizes.
4.5 In the unlikely event that the prize is not available, Austrian Airlines reserves the right to replace it with a prize of equal or higher value at its own discretion.

5 Exclusion of liability
5.1 Austrian Airlines shall not be liable in any form whatsoever for direct or indirect damages in connection with the implementation of the prize draw, resulting from participation or the possible non-availability of the Internet server. In particular, Austrian Airlines shall not be liable for the loss, delay, alteration, manipulation and/or misdirection of e-mails and/or data during data entry, collection, transmission and/or storage, which have their cause in third-party data networks, in particular the Internet or the WWW, in third-party telephone lines and/or other hardware and/or software of the participants and/or third parties; this also applies in particular to faulty, missing, interrupted, deleted or defective data. Austrian Airlines shall also not be liable for incorrect information caused by participants and/or third parties, their hardware and/or software and used for or in connection with the competition. In particular, no liability shall be assumed if e-mails or data entries do not comply with the requirements set forth therein and are consequently not accepted and/or accepted by the system. Furthermore, Austrian Airlines shall not be liable in the event of theft or destruction of the systems and/or storage media storing the data or in the event of unauthorized modification and/or manipulation of the data in the systems and/or on the storage media by the participants or third parties.
5.2 Austrian Airlines reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice. This applies in particular if the competition cannot run as planned for any reason, such as software and/or hardware errors and/or other technical and/or legal reasons that affect the administration, security, integrity and/or regular and proper execution of the competition. In such cases, Austrian Airlines shall also have the right to modify the Sweepstakes at its discretion.
5.3 Austrian Airlines shall not be liable for the acts or omissions of third parties.
5.4 Austrian Airlines shall only be liable for damages – irrespective of the legal grounds – in the event of intent or gross negligence on the part of Austrian Airlines, its legal representatives or vicarious agents, as well as in the event of culpable breach of essential contractual obligations.

6 Use of data
6.1 We use your data (title, name and e-mail address) exclusively for the purpose of conducting this competition; your data will not be passed on to third parties. You can read about your data protection rights, in particular your right to information and deletion as well as your right to lodge a complaint with the authority responsible for data protection, in detail at any time in our data protection information (Data protection | Austrian Airlines).

7 Miscellaneous
7.1 Should one or more of the above provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a provision that comes closest to the invalid provision in terms of its economic purpose. The same shall apply in the event of a loophole requiring regulation.
7.2 Legal recourse is excluded. There is no enforceable claim to the payment of the winnings.
